Surprise Bulb

We have a garden bed dedicated to bulbs, most of the year it looks barren except for the weeping crabapple in the centre and the spectacular liquid amber at the far end. But at this time of year, the white and yellow jonquils are flowering, spreading their amazing perfume throughout the yard (and house because I can’t hep but bring the heavy blooms in), plus, all my other bulbs are starting to peek up through the mulch, so I got a bit of a surprise this morning when heading of to check which bulbs had popped up… or should that be hopped up…
