Smoked Cheese #1

Of course.

This is such an obvious combination I have no idea why I didn’t try it earlier… anyway…

As you have guessed by the title today I tried making smoked cheese. As it was my first attempt I wasn’t brave enough to try it on my own cheese so I bought some cheese from the supermarket – a block of cheddar and a small Havarti. The cheese was cold smoked for 2 1/2 hours with a mild smoke (beech).
